The quality of the food is excellent, the portions are generous and the price is very reasonable. The first time I came here my friend ordered a chicken dinner. When the waitress came back and put the plate in front of him he looked puzzled...as the waitress returned to the kitchen. My friend told me he ordered chicken but there was no chicken on the plate. My friend put up his hand to call the waitress back to let her know of the error. As the waitress emerged from the kitchen with more plates my friend told her of the mistake. The waitress explained as she put another plate down in front of him (with chicken) that was the first plate. You should have seen his eyes bug out at all of the foo...
Really fresh sashimi, have to specify wild caught or you will be given farmed salmon. I had wild salmon, very good. Tried the tuna, also wonderful. I ordered beef tataki. The beef was top notch, cut a bit thick (should be so thin you can...see light through it but was cut inch thick which made it chewy and hard to eat with chopsticks) so had trouble eating the large pieces without a fork and knife.. ponzu sauce missing citrus/acid-very salty and strong sauce, I had some lemon which I squeezed on top and that fixed it so it was then delicious. Chef please add citrus to the beef tataki! Garlic dried chips overtop of the steak was very strong. Restaurant was clean, staff very friendly and helpf...
We love going to Hana Sushi restaurant. This past Sunday we met our neighbours for lunch. Hana Sushi has a large menu with many delicious choices. I have my favourites so I tend to order the same things each time. My current favourite is the...spicy teriyaki chicken bowl. Three of us ordered this choice and everyone loved it. We had an enjoyable lunch and a good visit with our friends. Hana Sushi has a button at each table so if you require your server just push the button. This is a innovative idea that I have not seen before. Hana Sushi is an excellent choice for lunch or dinner in Chilliwack.
When I feel like eating Sushi, I come to Hana Sushi! The food has never failed to impress me and I would definitely go back. Waiters are also very helpful and friendly. Only downside is that it is pricey compared to other Sushi restaurants, however...it is not a deal breaker because all the other places in town would be a compared to here. The price in other words definitely has a valid reason to be there.
My son and I had dinner at Hana Sushi in Chilliwack. My son ordered a bulgogi bowl and a spider roll and I enjoyed the chicken teriyaki bowl and the explosion roll. Everything was delicious and well presented. Dakota was our server and she provided...excellent attentive service. Hana Sushi has an extensive meal, and I find it hard to decide because of all the delicious choices.
Hana Sushi is open for pickup! We need to support our small businesses during these tough times during the pandemic. I have ordered twice and enjoyed my meals immensely. I recommend the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki Bowl. It is delicious. I have also enjoyed the Explosion...Roll and the Dynamite Roll. They have an extensive menu, view it on line and order for your dining pleasure!
Full kudos for the team at Hana Sushi for opening up in these difficult times to serve their terrific food to the local community with their Take Away business now fully operational. We love their menu and will often stop there when driving through...to Vancouver and back. So convenient just off the highway.
