I?m a very picky person especially for attention to details. This is the only Chinese restaurant or for that matter any Chinese food that I will eat. As a mature adult i have in my lifetime tried thousands of Chinese food. The ingredients they use in this restaurant feels like farm to table quality that?s how fresh and light it tastes. Very fresh and high quality. I?m a cook myself my pallet is very fine tuned. Even the oil used to prepare your meal does not leave an after taste, just light and clean. As someone who enjoys cooking and has a refined palate, I appreciate that even the oil used in the meal preparation is light and clean, leaving no greasy aftertaste. The service is exceptionally friendly and welcoming; they really make their customers feel like part of the family.
I highly recommend Hanami Westwood. We absolutely love it here, and I give it five stars! I've also brought along some friends who travel and dine around the globe, and they were thoroughly impressed with the food as well. On a side note, if you're not in the mood for Chinese, they also offer excellent sushi! Go and enjoy!
Worst restaurant ever. Last time we ordered from here, it was alright so we tried it again today. Turned out to be the worst experience ever. My Boston roll had a shrimp tail in it, besides not having a mayo. I almost chocked! Called the place, got a hold of manager and she asked for a picture. Then she called back but refused to give us a refund or something. She wanted us to bring the food back! Unbelievable! Most restaurants will profusely apologize and give us a refund. Really delicious Chinese food. This is not what you would find in Chinatown/Flushing and definitely not your average payout connection. The dishes are all known Chinese-American inspired, but cooked with fresh ingredients and without freezing/freezing frying/heavy battery. I didn't try the sushi, but it looked good (and expensive). I guess that's my only criticism, this place is definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay! Oh yes, BYOB

The food here is outstanding, but the service leaves much to be desired. The servers are distanced from their tables and seem rushed. We had a reservation for 7:00 PM on a weekend, and at 8:15 PM, the waiter informed us that the kitchen was closing. This made for an uncomfortable experience. They should consider reviewing their business hours and perhaps staying open an hour later to avoid rushing guests.
Very disappointed with the quality of food . I have been a costumer for many years to get a meal that is discussing to say the least . What used to be a pepper steak it turned out to be a blend, uncooked , unattractive dish. A fried rice turned into a lousy uncared cheap dish . I am NEVER ordering again . By the way, I added the scallions myself .??
The food is absolutely addictive! It truly lives up to its name: the best. I definitely need to explore more of the menu, but there are a few dishes I enjoy so much that I keep ordering the same thing. We've invited friends here for lunch and dinner, and even ordered takeout when we were in the mood for a treat. I love it!
The best sushi in town! There are paid parking spots available on-site, and it's wheelchair accessible. The staff was incredibly friendly. I particularly enjoyed the Alaskan sushi roll and the green tea. A meal for one person typically costs around $15 to $20. I highly recommend it!

I had an absolutely wonderful time tonight the food and the atmosphere were perfect in any case coming back here, I highly recommend it because it is one of the best places in the area.
This $24 sesame chicken dish lacked any real care or flavor. I finished it in just 10 minutes, which should have been a clue. What a disappointment.
