I have been to many sushi spots in the province and I've got to say that this spot is a hidden gem. For the price, the sushi is excellent to the taste and each special roll has it's own flavors. Not only is the food very good, but the chef makes it quite quickly and the presentation will still be flawless. I admire those who love their profession and with the dishes I was devouring I can definitely sense the passion.The beef tataki was my partner and I's personal favorite. Went on a weekday evening and the place was empty. We were seated right away and got to pick our table. The space itself is rather small with enough room for about four tables. The place where the sushi is prepared runs adjacent to the tables in a bar format with a kitchen for hot food further inside.Staff were patient in waiting for us to peruse the menu and order and took the time to read our order back to us to make sure they got it right. Sushi was prepared upon ordering and you could see some of it being made from the table.Presentation of each dish was clean and simple. We had an amazing meal at this hidden gem of a place.All of the sushi was fresh and very well made. Perfect balance of rice and other fresh ingredients. The fish was probably the freshest we have had at a sushi shop.Service was spot on, attentive. We never had to ask for more water, she was there as soon as our water was low. We arrived 10 minutes before closing and they sat us and served us as though it would be open for hours.Small family run place, best sushi experience in years. Yes it's a little pricey but the quality is hands down worth it. Some of their rolls are really big so when the server tells you those are big believe her.We will return again when we are in the city.

I didn 't take the negative feedback on the service seriously but boy this was one of the worst sit down experiences I 've ever had. Moments after we paid we were asked to leave to make room for other customers even though there were three other tables open and NO ONE was waiting for a table. I could understand if we 'd been there for a couple hours or if it was full and people were in line but we were asked to leave within an hour of arrival. Ambiance started off nice with the classical music and the chef’s warm disposition. We enjoyed the salmon aburi nigiri the most. Sushi was decent. Salads and gyozas were average. However, the service was cold, emotionless, rigid, and insincere. I felt the server judged us for not ordering more. I visited this place two years ago and the service is exactly the same. I came back thinking maybe the service would be different? Unfortunately, I wouldn’t come back here again.

For food its a 5 star but service forced me to take 2 stars off. Both times we went the grumpy wife would constantly rush us through out the meal making a very uncomfortable dining experience. Always clearing dishes like we're cutting into her time. She would take the sashimi plate (not cheap) away with still food on the plate, forcing us to stop her to quickly scoop the remaining pieces off. The husband always friendly and nice to talk to.

I was quite excited when I first found this place. The menu and everything looked great. But once we got our food, I realized there was quite a bit missing, especially in flavor. The rice was not seasoned at all, and many of the dishes seemed just underwhelming. One dish in particular, felt like a complete rip off. It was basically a California roll with a small dab of scallop and topped off with mayo for $15. Just quite insane to me.

Fantastic sushi! Very small sitting area, good for small groups. Friendly staff. Great service. You must try the torch salmon. So delicious and really pretty. I was disappointed with the chicken Karaage. It was soggy and lacked flavour. I hope they improve it because everything else was great. Reserva una mesa ahora

The food was quite good and well presented the cook is very good, only if the server was a bit nice i would’ve tipped definitely but she even rudely asked no tip? And was constantly judging us as it was first time for my friends eating sushi.

The dishes have a good portion and are tasty. The place is small, but very clean and organized. I loved eating at this place. In my opinion it is the best sushi restaurant in the area. I will come back more often. ?
