I’ve been a long time fan of Handels since they overtook Coldstone as my favorite ice cream chain, starting with the San Diego locations. It is with huge disappointment that I have to give this specific location 1.5 stars and that’s because this is the only location that ever made me feel like I wasn’t appreciated. The serving sizes both times I tried coming here were noticeably smaller than all the other locations, making me think that it was just a part of shrinkflation this country is dealing with but NO. We went to Handel's for some yummy ice cream after lunch. They actually had a really long line up but we soon found out that they had 2 separate lines and everyone was just lining up at one window. The staff was kind enough to let us know about the two lines. We had a really friendly staff member take our order. My son go the waffle bowl, I got the waffle cone and my wife got the root beer float. The flavors were pretty tasty and we had fun eating the ice cream in the courtyard play area at Manhattan village.
One of my favorite ice cream places! They have an incredible variety of flavors (the sampler box with four scoops is ideal for first-timers). Lately, I’ve really been enjoying the Hurricanes (imagine a McFlurry, but even better)! The line can get a bit lengthy in the evenings, but it moves quickly. While there’s no seating at Handel’s itself, there are benches nearby. I highly recommend it!
This has become my favorite ice cream place. I really love the ice cream here. I've been turning on all my friends to the ice cream here.

No matter which Handel's you visit, the service is always fantastic. Personally, I think the Butter Pecan flavor is the best!
