Handsome Hog has an amazing brunch menu! Everything we ordered was delicious with well balanced flavors. My friend had their Handsome Hog Hot Brown which was absolutely fantastic! The house ham was juicy and incredibly tender, the pecan bacon had a perfect balance of pecan and bacon flavor, the mornay sauce was rich and creamy, marinated tomatoes came on the side along with a cup of mixed greens, and the Gouda and the sunny side egg crowned the open faced dish with the egg having the most perfect run I've ever seen. The wife and I had the rare date night yesterday, so we had to make it count. A friend highly recommended HH, who we both trust, but I still kept my expectations in check. When I initially read the menu, everything sounded really good, but I thought there would be a larger selection to choose from. We ended up sharing a number of appetizers and sides so we could try a variety of dishes. Wow! All the different flavors with each dish. Even the mac-n-cheese with blazing hot Cheetos amazingly good (it was actually my favorite, to the point where I was scraping the crispy bits of cheese on the sides of the bowl). If there's anything positive to say about this restaurant, I've already said it, and that doesn't even include the amazing Joe and Justin. These two gentlemen run the place like no other in the Twin Cities. The atmosphere is always relaxed yet upscale. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced, with a wide variety of bourbon and whiskey from around the world, as well as more casual options like PBR. It truly doesn't get any better than this.

Went for lunch; it wasn't crowded at all, which was cool. I ordered a biscuit, but sent it back because it was dry. The ribs were good, nice and tender! My friend had the chicken and waffles which she said was good she just wished the waffles were a little bigger. We had a good server as well. Overall the food was good, and we had a good experience. We really enjoyed this place. I liked the chicken and waffles, but I didn’t care for the apples on it. We also had the pig tails. I was skeptical, but they were very tasty. Just know that tails have bones! The Tennessee hot chicken sandwich was not like original hot chicken from Nashville- and there was very little meat on the bun. The chicken fried cauliflower was fabulous!

Second time we were turned away from the patio. Reservations needed for sure! Went for brunch. The Benedict did not disappoint. I had the rib meat version little spice to that meat), my son had the crab cake version. Both are excellent. Came with a nice mixed green salad. My husband had chicken and waffles. He said the chicken was very good and crispy.

This place was absolutely amazing! I had the brisket hash. The flavors meshed so well. It had a slight kick but just warm not hot at all. I do wish the potatoes were cooked just a hair more. The chicken and waffles were cooked perfectly and tender. The flavor for the breading was delicious. Staff was friendly and kept the water full.

We had dinner on a Thursday night at this restaurant. The fried chicken wings and rib clams were delicious. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. The food was so good that it arrived quickly. While the meal was not cheap, it was definitely worth it. Reserva una mesa ahora

Stopped here for a happy hour treat and had some brisket sliders and their take on poutine. Both had good flavors and a 3$ (cheap) beer was a nice bonus. Looked high end for evening. Meats smoked in house.

Big fan of Handsome Hog, I have not had a bad entree. Highly recommend the place. The chef is one of the best in the twin cities.
