I've had some amazing fondues over my 31 year skiing history; meat, cheese and raclette. Sadly this was not one of them. The decor is like a bland pastiche of an Austrian teashop. The service was fairly hit and miss. After an hour waiting, the cheese fondue was delivered to our table lukewarm, then brought back ten minutes later a bit warmer. It clearly hadn't been cooked properly, being more like a cheese sauce than a fondue - the texture, look and consistency just wasn't quite right.Overall value was extremely poor at around Euro 25 per person for a basket of bread, the cheese sauce and a tiny bowl of limp side salad.Generally in St Anton the standard of food, even on the mountain, was grea...

Busy cafe just off the main high street. Serves a range of teas and coffees along with delicious cakes (walnut for me!), yummy pastries , and I wish I had room for the kaiserschmarren! - this is a speciality in Austria - fluffy pancake pieces mixed with freshly cooked apples and topped with a dusting of icing sugar. And there's a side plate of hot plum sauce to dip the pieces in. You need 4 people to eat it all . Very attentative and efficient waitresses who managed to find us some seats (3) . constantly busy. Was the only place left to eat on our rainy last day in St Anton. Reasonably priced for the quality of the food and service and attractive decor. Do try the English tea with the most u...

It's a shame. This place is very charming and the pastries are excellent. Service however is horrendous. Waitress was downright rude. It was the only bad service experience we had in our entire 4 nights in St Anton. And just a heads up: they have a policy that if you spend less than €20 you have to pay cash. We didn't see this posted anywhere. When we said we didn't have it in cash the waitress didn't flinch and pointed us to the closest ATM. If she hadn't been so rude we probably wouldn't have even cared. But it was just adding insult to injury. Take a pass on this place. Reserva una mesa ahora

Family of 6, including 3 teens and 1 pre-teen. Looking for an authentic meaty fondue experience. We shared four main course fondues which was plenty having had a heavy lunch on the mountain earlier in the day. The food was very nice and service attentive, although they could have had one more person on table service duty as the place was busy. The desserts were to die for....Coupe Denmark (best I've had but big, share between two!) and a fresh fruit Chocolate Fondue. Bon Appetit.Fondue.

Montjola was for many years my favorite restaurant in St. Anton... but that was when it was in small, quaint traditional feeling rooms in Hotel Montjola. Now it's in the center of St. Anton with zero ambiance. Food is still good but it's lost its charm. There is another fondu restaurant in one of the recently renovated hotels down the road which I'd recommend over Montjola.

St. Anton has a dearth of reasonable cafe's where you can get your kids some hot chocolate and non-instant coffee for yourself. Starbucks is nowhere to be found. After trying what seems to be every coffee place in town, we settled on this one - quick service, quiet, non-smoking and great deserts. So, by the st. Anton's standards it is definitely 5 stars.

We enjoyed our family fondue dinner. You must order one fondue for each person. We went with one cheese, 2 meet in oil, and one meet in broth. We enjoyed sharing with each other. We went with one order of chocolate fondue for dessert and it was plenty for a well deserved post-skiing dinner. Reserva una mesa ahora

Three women behind counter stared at us when we walked in did nothing. Finally someone say is down and took about :15min to get a menu. Ordered cheese fondue for 2. Got cheese fondue for 1. Hard to mess up fondue so was ok but with pretty stale crusty bread. Prob wouldn't again.
