When I went inside to grab some pictures for this review, I was greeted by a friendly young lady who was diligently assisting customers. The donut display had a good variety to choose from: glazed, chocolate, chocolate with sprinkles, coconut, nuts, cinnamon twists, apple fritters, and both lemon-filled and strawberry-filled donuts. They also offer breakfast sandwiches featuring bacon and eggs, options with cheese, or sausage. Breakfast burritos and tacos are available as well; I didn’t check what was inside, but they looked fresh!

I absolutely love this place. The food is extremely cheap but extremely well-made. They heat it up right in front of you and if you're on the go it is definitely your pick. For a small town place they're extremely friendly and the service is great. It's my favorite place to eat in San Augustine in the mornings. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $1–10
This is a fantastic breakfast spot with delicious food. However, their hours can be quite unreliable. They have a large sign out front claiming to be open seven days a week, but that's not always the case. If you go on a Tuesday, you might want to keep your fingers crossed that they’re actually open. It's hard to know when they will be open or closed.
This donut has friendly service, and they are welcoming. They had plenty of different varieties of drinks but limited donut options. I liked to sausage rolls chocolate donut twist. They are short on donuts options, and donuts weren't so tasty. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20

This place is one of my favorite reasons to come back to San Augustine. As a member of the military, I always look forward to returning home just to enjoy their Kolaches. I just arrived and can’t wait to get some more!
