These guys (Miguel and Jean (I think)) cook and deliver the best steak in Europe, cooked over embers from wine barrels. They sell it by the Kilogram...they show you your meat before they cook it so you can figure out how much you need. We have gone there two years in a row, and both times it was first rate in all dimensions. Make sure you get a reservation at least a day in advance...the restaurant is small and accommodates only about 30 patrons at a time. Make sure you get a nice bottle of wine to go with it. The wine is reasonably priced.
This is a fantastic, small, intimate restaurant, tucked away in a corner of Biarritz.Run by two friendly hosts you are sure to receive good service (One is bi-lingual so English speakers speakers will be fine). You get to choose which steak is cooked for you on an open charcoal grill and then get to watch it being cooked in front of your very own eyes. By the time it arrives you will be salivating!The steak is served with a simple green salad and french fries which compliment it well.I would definitely go back....
Simply the best meat restarunt in Biarritz , and two great guys doing all the work !Very small inside but this makes for a cosy experience . I have been three times now and the atmosphere service and food have been first class each time.I'm back in Biarritz in June this year and will be heading back there for sure !
