Our Colorado crew of 11, including 5 kids under 11, stayed during the 4th of July holiday week. We were met by everyone with a welcoming, service oriented attitude. From the manager who was out in the public view and helping serve up during the ice cream social to the housekeeping staff who asked if there was anything we needed when we met them in the hallway. They made our children feel so special. The breakfasts were delicious a served with a song and a smile. The rockers on the porch at dusk were made to treat the adults to the relaxing ambiance of true vacation spirit. When we return to Bar Harbor, we will stay at this delightfully restful, truly Grand hotel. Thank you to all who worked...

The hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants along the main street.

great location on the main street, but away from street noise. clean, modern room, very comfortable bed and continental breakfast, which included good quality healthy options. umbrellas also offered for the rainy evening. to walk to all restaurants and acadia shuttle. would definitely recommend!
