I hate to give this place a poor review, as the staff were so charming and the atmosphere was so refined. I ordered the lunch special because it was the only thing that was reasonably priced $20 for a BLT?? and so I ordered the vegetable omelette sandwich and they essentially sliced a tomato in half and put the WHOLE THING on the sandwich, and the egg was a soggy MESS. The chocolate was very subpar— light, but too much walnut and it was melting essentially— it should have been more chilled. Really a tragedy. I hope they improve because I want to like this place

First of all, their cakes are amazing. Their lunch set is also pretty good as well. For $25 you can choose between a sandwich or salad and it comes with a drink and a lunch slice of the cake for the day. Free refills on hot coffee and tea too!Really enjoyed the BLT with the big slices of bacon and the bread was perfectly toasted. the coffee was pretty good too. The only downside is the smaller slice of cake but I was pretty full after just the sandwich. The signature strawberry cake is a must!

High quality Japanese cakes at high prices. I’ve been to Japan many times and this place is very Japanese, with a vibe that might seem strange to New Yorkers.I’ve eaten in here a couple of times and today took out a slice of tasty Irish cream cheesecake for $12. The size of the slice was a little small compared to other cakes I’ve had here and the ones in the case. It’s good quality but for $12 I’d like a little more generous portion.

Service was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cakes are so fresh and not overly sweet or heavy and pair so well with the teas. This place makes you slow down and indulge in the moment
