My parents used to come here on the regular but haven't been for a while since COVID. Both of them are vegetarian and, previously, had really enjoyed their veggie options. Last night however, the Hare and Hound really let themselves down. My parent placed their...order with waiting staff at an hour later they had to ask where there food was. As it turns out the order had either not gone through to the kitchen or the kitchen had forgot. The waitress returned looking panicked saying that unfortunately there was a delay as it was busy, except that it hadn't been since we had arrived. Just after their meals arrived, upon tasting his Chilli my dad found that it had been made with Beef!!! Disguste...
when they were stopped in the environment after a visit, it was pretty busy, but the friendly renter immediately set us up. the lunch menu on Sunday had much to choose, price for one, two or three curs. I had the bark and bareby when the honey glazed ham both came with a yorkshire pudding and a bratkartoffel, the vege came to share separately. very delicious and fresh, much for two and felt full after that, but it managed to find space for a sticky toffee pudding and custard. a beautiful Sunday dinner, much better than any carvery and will call again definitiw.

we arranged in front of the hand to ask what food would be available, as there is no possibility to present online. the lady who answered, found it too difficult to read the articles on the special board and was especially not helpful. when we arrived, the employees were rude and the service was bad. When the food arrived, I found a hair under the garlic bread. we asked for tee and were served our drinks in dirty and chipped sauces. we were asked if we wanted to make the bill, as we were the last, and they wanted to leave us clearly. My wife and I attended here today with our friends and had a gorgeous Sunday Lunch. We both had the Prawn Cocktail and the Roast Beef and all the food was excellent. The vegetables were lovely, especially the Cauliflower Cheese. It all came with a...delicious Yorkshire Pudding and a good old fashioned Roast Potato. The Staff here are really nice, friendly and cheerful. The whole place has a great feel to it and I can't wait to come back.
absolutely tasty eating, definitiw some of the best pub food I had in the old. friendly and attentive staff and honestly cannot complain about eating at all. the decor could use an update, but it was good, but the toilets really let it down. they obviously have not been renovated in years. in any case worth a visit for eating.
