I drive past the pub regularly and thought I would call for lunch with my grown up children and granddaughter.The positives are the food really lovely freshly cooked with ample portions and not pricey at all. Steak sandwich with lovely homemade onion rings and salad , salmon and creme fraiche sandwich and sausage and mash . All followed by chocolate brownies and ice cream delicious food. Negatives the service was so very slow from ordering food to clearing plates and having dessert we were there 2 hours ! The most disappointing part for me was that as pubs are supposed to be family friendly now there were no facilities to change my granddaughter's nappy no room whatever in the ladies and whe...
I visited this restaurant for the first time today and it was fantastic. The food was superb and the staff were extremely helpful. It is a well-run pub. Even though we did not have a reservation, we were accommodated with minimal hassle and the service was exceptional. I will definitely be returning to this venue very soon.
Really disapointed tonight normally love it here. Private party in progress,waited ages for a table we had gone to eat told to order before 7 and when we went to order after having a couple of drinks told sorry no food private party, too late to go elsewhere. Not impressed
Wow, this place is amazing for food, I called with my family and had 3 course and only thing I was disappointed with was walking out of the pub pogged. The portions are large but beautiful and will return regularly and recommend

Popped in for a sandwich, was pleasantly surprised, food lovely but far too much (if that can be a complaint) home cooked chips and a fresh salad on the side, aling with a hot beef sandwich on lovely brown.uncut bread. Perfect.
This pub has everything a village could ask for, from delicious food and entertainment to book clubs, themed evenings, charitable events, and even a dog-friendly atmosphere. Thank you for accommodating all our needs!
This is the best pub I've ever visited. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were exceptional, especially a young boy named Jacob who was very polite and kind to me. The food was phenomenal.

Had just a fantastic meal today, amazing value, just absolutely scrummy, can't recommend it highly enough, 10 out of 10, well done.
Clean and friendly with good staff but disappointed with the menu. Good food but little choice and expensive.
