Our family booked this place to have a family wake, and I have to say the staff were wonderful and really made the afternoon perfect. The pub has a beautiful country look about it and has some very pretty views. The food spread that was laid on was very nice, and there was lots of variety. My daughter was the only child present (2 years of age) and the staff were fantastic with her, letting her play with balloons and making her a non alcoholic cocktail, even put on the TV for her when she was getting tired. Would definitely recommend it.
We went to The Hare Hounds today for a Sunday roast and cannot recommend it enough. Welcoming atmosphere with great service and the food is just amazing. In fact one of the best roast dinners I’ve ever had in a restaurant. So tasty, great presentation and plenty of it. If you haven’t visited since the pub has been under new management then you need to, you won’t be disappointed. We’re already planning our next visit. Thanks guys!
A big thank u to the hare hounds. Had my wife’s wake here on the 24th of January and I was very impressed. My wife and myself was in the trade for a lot of years and I know a good pub when I see one. Also the young lady serving us was outstanding. Keep up the good work…
Very friendly, went out of the way, to assist outside a disabled lady, even escorted her to the dining area, thank you. Food was top marks, lots of home made, generous portions traditional Sunday roast, is a must, Highley recommend

Found this place today by accident. They offer a selection of Sunday roast options with massive Yorkshire puddings. The wine was nice and the atmosphere was very friendly. Definetely going back there!
Pub seemed nice and can see effort has been made to make the garden nice but the pub was totally empty inside and out on a lovely sunny day which was odd!
Absolutely fab! Lovely staff, and amazing food that was really great value. We had a fantastic meal and felt really welcome. Thank you.
