Harlees Westbury - Reserva de mesa

We had visited previously and been very happy. Even more so when we northerners asked if they did scraps and the answer was yes! Only downside that time was they didn't do gravy (but I know this is a northern thing haha) However we visited again tonight very much looking forward to what was lovely fish and chips on our last visit almost on a par with what we would get at the seaside back hom. So naturally we was impressed. Get home however this time to a huge chunk of all 4 meals having bad black chips!!!! And I don't mean a few I mean like half of each portion ! The fish was nothing like last time, we had fluffy crispy beautiful battered fish and this time it was aweful horrible soggy batte...

Didn 't even get to order today, the staff took orders for 2 people in front of me then walked off and were talking in the back. I managed to get their attention after a few minutes, to be told I 'll be there soon . I only wanted to portion of chips, not sure why they wouldn 't take my order when they took the others, there was no-one else in the queue. Very poor service, staff came across as completely disinterested. Service: Take out

Staying in local B&B and after a long day needed somewhere to eat. Popped into town and came across this place. The fish and chips were freshly prepared for us, so they came out nice and hot. Really enjoyed them. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend it. Fantastic, friendly staff. They ran out of takeaway cups for coffees but were so kind to let us take the porcelain cups as were on our way back to the train station.
