This is a nice restaurant in the Sheraton the menu is new Canadian food with some Mediterranean inspiration. The space is elegant and comfortable, if lacking in personality. My parents and I went for dinner after I flew into Toronto on Saturday evening and it was pretty quiet, which was nice. Our server was very soft spoken and occasionally difficult to hear, but he was super polite and knowledgeable on the menu, and happy to explain anything we wanted to know more about. My dad and I started with drinks. They didn't give us a drink menu at first, but we just went back to the hostess and asked. I had a Hennessey Daiquiri and my dad a French Martini. My sister and I had a long layover in Toronto before we headed off to Vancouver for our cruise. We decided to hit up the dispensary close to the airport, and this place popped up for food recommendations. It was very good, and Phil, before our long flight across the country, I ordered the mussels to start out with and then had a salad Mussels: 8.9 Salad: 8.9 Scale system 10/10 would be what I want for my last meal 9.9 9.3 driving out of my way to get this 9.2 8.0 like the place and would go back 7.9 7.0 I would come here again if it were presented and don't have anything bad to say 6.9 and below thanks but no thanks after trying once
Their breakfast is pretty good. Their omelets are superb. The waffles? They're ok. The home fries you can mess these up, but they were solid here. But the omelets? They're the thing you need to gravitate towards. I have had many an omelet in restaurants not all that different from this one, and while they are all more or less fine, this one stood out. Was I exceptionally hungry that morning? Indeed I was not. I did not intend to eat a large breakfast, until I saw others with one. And then I knew that it had to be mine. And it was. And I was better for the experience.
Food delicious food tested freshly prepared. The salad was crisp even with the dressing. The pasta was delicious and filling be sure to do the bread in the sauce.. shrimps were large and juicy I would recommend this dish The service was slow. I visited on a Sunday mid day and they only had one staff member on the floor which is unfair to him. He's doing the best he can
