We have eaten at Harvest several times and have been very pleased. This time we were very disappointed. Seemed as though we were at a entirely different restaurant. The restaurant was not busy at all, so too busy is not the reason for the poor quality. I had the French Onion Soup and it was not edible because of the saltiness. It was like eating brined bread. My wife had the French dip which came out soggy, which made the sandwich not very appetizing to begin with. We aren't accustomed to having cheese on a French Dip and the au jus had minimal resemblance to au jus in appearance, texture or taste. I was disappointed with the food at this restaurant considering the price. The sides lacked seasoning, including the cauliflower and risotto which were almost flavorless. The shiitake mushrooms served with the salmon were soggy and lacked their earthy flavor. The salmon itself was cooked well, but the "Asian glaze" was just a simple teriyaki sauce that was nothing special. The "fall" chicken and risotto dish was average, with the chicken slightly overcooked and in need of more sauce or seasoning. My autumn mule cocktail was good and the service was fine, with our waitress being attentive. The ambiance was quiet and calm, making it easy to have a conversation.

The Hanger Steak and Branzino are the best dishes we've ever had at this restaurant, and we've been coming here for three years! The food and drinks are fabulous - by far the best spot in Knoxville!

Atmosphere is wonderful very laid back food was very fresh. Oysters on half shell were good but small. Drinks were great. Wine selection outstanding
