We made a reservation for New Year's Eve 2023 at Harvest restaurant, and from the moment we entered the hotel to the moment we sat at our beautiful table, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff. Sue guided us to our table and explained the menu and beverage options, and almost as soon as we were seated, we were treated to a complimentary glass of champagne along with a basket of buttered, delicious bread. The New Year's Eve menu was exceptional—seven courses that rivaled (if not surpassed) the offerings of many 5-star Michelin restaurants (and I have dined at several). Our experience started off on a questionable note with a wobbly table reminiscent of a pub setting. We ordered the sweet corn panna cotta, but it was served with a crab shell, and the corn gel lacked any flavor. The brioche tasted like stale Madeira cake. The pulled lamb was decent, but it came with an excessive amount of lentils, and the kaffir lime emulsion made the dish visually unappealing. The chicken ballotine was generally bland, and the “chicken skin crisp” was soggy and unappetizing. The pan-fried snapper was also flavorless and slightly undercooked, with a fish bone included, along with far too much fennel and eschalot. We just had a short one night stay here celebrating our anniversary, the team at the harvest restaurant looked after us and ensured we had a wonderful time, apparently we were the lucky ones fortunate to try out the head chef’s fresh new menu, as my hubby is a professional chef as well, super fussy and picky when it comes to food, and he couldn’t fault anything, the wagyu rump and sousvide lamb were perfectly executed, the meat was so tender and juicy, the lemon tart was just divine! Thank you team for the lovely dinner experience!

Here in Harvest Bar on my wife’s birthday, ordered one margherita pazza and one Mexican nacho, waited 40mins! and went up to the counter asked for the foods, then she checked and brought the pizza to my table. It was cold pizza means the pizza obviously cooked and sat on the bench waiting to be served! Now i am still waiting for the nacho been ordered 1hr ago not knowing when it comes….Should I go back to the counter again asking for the food??? What is this??? Spring menu was delicious, comfortable atmosphere, lovely staff. May need to book as it seems to get a bit busy on Saturdays. Food wasn't the quickest still a lovely place to have dinner, especially if you're staying at the hotel.
