Harvest Buffet The Star

Disappointing.. over priced for the small amount of time allowed to eat! Noisiest restaurant to eat at! With the limited time available to eat .. this was just over the top. We had a booking at 5pm.. took nealy 30 mins in the FAST lane to get to our table. Then we were shoed out just after 7. We did not get the full 2 hours eating as expected.. we have a booking of 12 and nearly half did not get to eat dessert as we were told to leave. The staff started cleaning up around and under us and stood over us waiting for us to move out. There was an expectation of a 2hr window to eat.. yet we had to line up for nearly 30 mins just to get in. The guy at the entrance was serving those of us who booke...

Had a fantastic pre-theatre dinner here with my husband on our wedding anniversary. I am Italian-Australian and have high expectations of the food from my parents' country. Balla did not disappoint. The quail in pancetta was as good as my father's and I will be back for this dish alone. The gnocchi with pork ragu was equally perfect. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his pumpkin ravioli, the venison not so much because he prefers his meat less rare. The atmosphere and service were sensational.

Waited 45 minutes between entree and main. Waiter spoke broken English. Had a food allergy and waiter could not confirm or deny if meals had that ingredient. Champagne with limoncello came out warm was $30, so expected it to be cool. Waiter also didn’t know the drink. We’re forgot about between entree and main and 2 x glasses wine took 10 minutes to come out. Food itself was nice. Would not return or recommend, unfortunately.

Thank you Balla for phenomenal food and exceptional service. We enjoyed a three course meal before heading to a show at Lyric Theatre and it was simply exquisite. The value of the pre-theatre menu was incredible considering the high quality food. Would absolutely return to Balla in the future, and recommend to all foodies and friends. Reserva una mesa ahora

We had a great experience at Balla. We dined a la carte before the theatre and had plenty of time. Service was friendly and prompt. Good wine recommendations based on our brief. We all very much enjoyed our food and it was good value for money. We'll be back.

I thi k the best place to eat at the Crown. The food was interesting and innovative. The service could have been a little more attentive or they could have left the wine at the table as we’d have to call their attention to our empty glasses.

Food was delicious and service was great, but it was very noisy, there were kids watching iPads very loud on the next table, that was the only nagative experience in an otherwise perfect dinner
