Went with my hungry 6 year old for brunch. Took over 25min to have our order taken despite attempting to get staff attention for much of that time. It then took another 45min to receive our meals. One of the meals was not what we ordered (despite a staff member double checking the order) but I couldn’t bear to wait any longer so just ate the alternative meal. The food is fine but there’s clearly an issue with staffing and their general attentiveness. My son has made me promise him that we’ll never go there again.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! I stopped by for breakfast and a coffee while I was in the area. I ordered poached eggs on sourdough, accompanied by bacon and an oat latte, and I was really happy with both the meal and the coffee. The person sitting next to me had the Harvest Breakfast, which looked amazing—though it seemed a bit too large for my appetite. I'll definitely try it next time! Cheers!
Asked if they were still open and if I could have a seat. Bought a coffee (it was great). One minute The owner asked me to leave since they were closing, he started putting the chairs up around me- a not so subtle and very rude way of kicking out a customer. Don’t bother, there’s other lovely cafes up and down station st.
The staff was friendly and engaging, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The coffee was excellent! I really enjoyed the sweet potato and halloumi tart, which was complemented perfectly by the relish. An absolute delight! The competition is fierce on Station Street, but Harvest Food Store truly stands out. The staff is attentive, courteous, and above all, friendly. The food is incredibly delicious, with the pancakes and fritters being the highlights. Treat yourself and pay a visit!
