Arrived to welcoming staff and seated, I did not like where I was seated as it was really dark so was moved without any problems. We waited about 20 minutes for a waitress to arrive who asked if we were ready for her to take our order! We had not been offered a drink so thought we best order both! When the drinks arrived 2 out of the 3 were wrong!! But did get them changed without any problems The food arrived very quickly, my ribs were pale and Luke warm with a pasting of bbq sauce on them they certainly hadn’t seen a grill, the corn was filled with water (so out of date way to cook corn on the cob) Salad bar was disgusting!! This evening myself and my family went to the harvester (Holly Badger) on our arrival. There was no one to greet us at the door, meaning we were there for five minutes before we even got seated. By this time, my younger children were already very hungry and put a downside on what was supposed to be a very good dinner. Once we were seated we went to the salad bar. The salad bar was poorly stocked without cucumber and carrots, of which are both displayed on their website, I ordered myself, the Dirtybird burger I ended up with the wrong burger of which I was annoyed, but they brought me a new burger straight away, once the food came out, it was all perfect and the desert was the best part I wou...
It had been a while since I last visited this Harvester (approximately 2 years) and I was disappointed with my previous experience. However, I decided to give it another chance and arranged to meet a friend there. I was pleasantly surprised by the lovely meal we had and the efficient and friendly service provided by Emelia. The only downside was the unexpectedly high price of the help-yourself salad. Despite this, I am planning to visit again soon.
AFter a fantastic night out with friends we ate in the bar area and were made to feel like a part of the family, Alfie Samira were attentive and made sure the four of us were looked after, just like they do with all their clients. The food at this restaurant is excellent, the staff is well-presented, and there are plenty of options to choose from. The salad bar was particularly important to me during Covid times since I couldn't go up to the bar myself. It was amazing!
Our usual stop off point on route to taking my daughter to uni in London. Had the pleasure of Kay today, she provided great service made out visit great. Thank you.
