Arrived for the first time since we came when they first reopened and that was not a good experience, well we arrived today and were shown our table , good space between tables so a good start, I had the mushrooms to start and they...were very good and hot, which makes a change these days, for main I decided I would have the mixed grill as I was not convinced the roast potatoes would be crispy as advertised, well I made the right choice as another of our party had the roast and the potatoes were definitely NOT crispy, the mixed grill was excellent overall, but better flavoured sausages would improve the grill immeasurably, my criticism would be don’t put “crispy potatoes” if they are not, an...

As he used to be alright as ordinary barman. For this reason as lot of us have chosen to drink and eat elsewhere on Tuesdays as we know that’s one of the days he’s in charge and the place isn’t as nice a place to be as other nights. Quiz night is much to loud and noises for the whole pub. Would be much nicer if the front bar was quiz only and that allow people to enjoy their meals and each other’s compan...

We went to this pub for a nice lunch after visiting the care home opposite. The food took nearly a hour to come and when it did, it was not a pretty sight. You could tell this was purely frozen food chucked into a fryer....Frozen food with a side of cold peas. My jacket potatoe was difficult to cut and I could only eat the soft bits. I asked for a side of coleslaw to make it softer, but this came as a massive chunk of the end of a red cabbage with some mayonnaise. Honestly was not nice at all and my stomach feels funny after leaving the pub now

came here on a Friday night, big party celebrated a 60th birthday party. the personal was so friendly at the arrival and that remained through the night. Although eating is average, I would say that the customer service was the best we had in one. long time have experienced! very attentive and friendly, nothing was too much effort. all employees very chatting and had the time to talk to us at the end of the meal. would come back! many thanks for making our celebrations pleasant! My wife and I visited with two friends on Thursday night, and had an enjoyable meal. We all chose steaks and were happy to find out when we paid the bill that it was steak night' so it saved us £14. The one rump steak...was good, the three sirloins were okay, and considering prices of £11,79 and £13,49 were good value. Starters were good especially the KARAAGE CHICKEN, and the deserts were fine. Service was good, so left happy.

My family and I are regular visitors ever since it thankfully changed to an Ember Inn from being a tired Harvester restaurant previously. Atmosphere is always vibrant and service always terrific. No one wants to work on Christmas Day but the guys and girls all...pulled together to make it a wonderful occasion. It is a great place to visit especially for a decent pint or for a spot of lunch or dinner. Highly recommend.

After being let down by another restaurant we were able to get a table for 9 people very last minute. Danny is an absolute asset to this restaurant and the service we received all evening was outstanding. Food was great, highly recommend the baked Camembert,...steaks and roasts. A family birthday celebration greatly enjoyed here. Look forward to returning in the future

came first to the sunday roast. eating was only average, with the largest part of the sweet, including bratkartoffeln at the rande of the blank. meat was bearable as long as they like to chew for a hobby! as a pub to distance. looks really nice, but it's got to deal with some problems. sad will not return Reserva una mesa ahora

some new dishes were tried on the menu, eating was very tasty, friendly, efficient service from the staff, the place has a welcoming atmosphere
