I went with my husband and my daughter. I wish I didn't go because it ruined my whole day. We order food AND drinks for the three of us. Because there was a long walk to the beach, we asked for a cup of ice. It was 36 degrees!They said the owner instructed not to give any ice. Then we asked for water and they said they were not allowed to give water either. We asked to speak with imagine if she didn't solve the problem . Then my husband got so mad that he cancelled the order.McDonald's has never ever had a problem in giving us water or ice. It is not that they were losing a sale.., we ordered 3 drinks plus food. I am sure I will never be back again.And yes, I have been several times and burg...
It is a burger joint so you know what you will get. The burgers are also typical, this means the taste is nothing special but if you want something quick and cheap, and quite easy this will do. Now to the quick part... this is not really true. The work is slow, and there is no hurry in the service. I noticed the goal of delivery time to be 4:30 mins as average and on the board there was hardly a single service that met the goal. So quick... yes, not as long as a restaurant, but not quick as in most common fast food chains.Would I come back again, yes. But that is more lack of options as the other alternatives around for fast food with burgers are poor.
Not sure what the problem is with this location but the drive thru is a mess! There were 2, yes 2 cars in front of me and I waited in the drive through line for 24 minutes only to receive lukewarm food and a very runny milk shake, no fork and the wrong sauce I asked to speak to a manger and was told there wasn't one available. I stated it was ridiculous to make a customer wait that long in a drive thru and was told it was not her fault. Pathetic.
I work at the beach and buy lunch out all the time, when I have time I'll go to Harvey's but, that's just it you have to have the time to go there. The drive thru is suppose to be faster then going in, I drive up 1st in line then while waiting for the Onion rings not the burger, the burger end's up cold and the line up behind me, really long now, don't always have the time to use the Harvey's drive thru!! Welcoming as soon as you walk through the door, staff were busy for a Sunday, staff seemed to be having fun working together and that translated to the food. Staff greater guest as we came through the door. Really took care in making the meal, clean location clean behind the counter. Large parking lot. The bad reviews from others seem to have payed off during out visit.
We decided to have a quick dinner at Harvey's and were very pleased with the meal. As usual the original burger was top notch. I was also excited to see the larger variety of toppings - the avocado, sweet corn relish, black olives, etc. That made the burger even more tasty!
