We really enjoy a good fried catfish, so whenever we're traveling between Pennsylvania and Texas, we make it a point to stop at a fish fry restaurant. This particular place is exceptional. We ordered a meal that included a plate of boneless catfish and fries, and it was fantastic. The fish and fries came straight out of the fryer, piping hot, and perfectly seasoned—unlike some places that overdo the salt and overpower the natural sweetness of the fish. I've heard many great things about this restaurant but never had the chance to try it until today. While at work, I decided to take my wife out for a delicious hot plate of fish, which she absolutely loves. We both ordered the 4-piece catfish with fries and salad. I have to say, the fish was served hot and fried to perfection, just the way I like it. I was so focused on enjoying the fish that I hardly touched the salad, but I ended up finishing everything on my plate. I even went back to order another piece of Wels Salad because it was that good! We will definitely be returning. My wife loved it as well. Make sure to add this fish spot to your must-visit list; you won't be disappointed!
I think this is the best fish place in town. The fish is incredibly tender and flavorful, not too salty or overcooked. I really enjoyed my meal and would definitely go back. My friend Randy, who works with me, picked it up for me as takeout. Thanks, Chris!
