This review is for their new location at 2383 W. Lincoln Ave, Anaheim. The new space is beautiful! I've heard that they are always friendly and welcoming. The food is delicious and served in generous portions. They've renovated the outdoor seating area and created a waiting space outside. Since opening, they have made great improvements. The chicken koobideh with cherry rice is particularly tasty. I'm thrilled they're closer to me now, and parking is easy as well. Don’t really know what’s going on. Seems like there’s a issue with my food more often then not. Twenty percent 20% of my koobideh was burned do to the grille malfunction there was nothing that can be done. I was told to order rare next time butit’s going to be pink inside. How about I order normal cooked and I get it that way. Gave up trying to explain it to thelady and just eat what I could.
The new location is much nicer! We have been visiting the old one for a long time, and this was our first time eating in the new space. The food is consistently good, but there is always way too much rice (haha)! One thing I wasn't a fan of was that a gratuity was automatically included in the bill for our party of three.

I ordered take out, beef and chicken koobideh , requested lavish bread. Made it home and discovered pita bread and the taste isn't the same as it was at original location. Back during 2000 through 2005 the hole in the wall place(on Brookhurst) was on point.
Poor service anf quality of food has gone downhill. Owner walks with her dog in to the kitchen against health regulations. Waiter joked about serving dog meat to the table behind us.Place went downhill.Bahar restaurant or Panini is a much better choice.
Food is very good, plenty of food and price reasonably. The atmosphere is rather stark not fitting a Persian resturant but clean. Service needs to be improved.
