"Was excited about having a trendy cafe in my area, was expecting great coffee and service. Took 10mins to get a takeaway coffee and the young staff had no sense of urgency just taking their time. I hope it improves and would love to see some fresh healthy breakfasts on the menu."

We were excited that a new place opened in reddy bay so thought we'd support the new local cafe. When we arrived no customers were there and the girl behind the counter gave us a mute welcome! We asked if we could sit anywhere and she just grunted. Anyway we grabbed ourselves some menus and took a seat. The guy who works there was lovely and is trying to make a go of it, think he needs to start with training the staff in basic customer service skills. The dinner menu was small. No entrees except garlic bread. We had a pasta dish and shanks and they were good but nothing outstanding. Its byo which is good and its priced well. It was only about $35 for 2 meals and gb.Hopefully they can improve on customer service and add a few little entrees, even something simple like warm olives, bruschetta and arancini balls or something? Good luck to them

I really wanted this place to be a great dining location as Redland Bay has very limited dining options.Unfortunately, we left very disappointed. Upon arrival and a wait at the counter, we received a luke warm inattentive greeting. We ordered food (a burger and burrito salad) and took our seat, the only customers in the restaurant... the wait was long.I don't mind waiting for great food, and the burger and chips was pretty good, however the lettuce in the burrito salad was wilted and slimy. We returned the salad and the manager returned the cash without question.I feel like the whole experience would have been less negative if only the service from the start was top notch. It is so important to get this right, and I hope you do.

Arrived at this cafe thinking it was going to be a good experience. The young lad that served us was friendly and helpful, the young lady making the coffee must have sucked lemons as she was sour and unhelpful. They took their time to make 2 milkshakes and 2 coffees. Coffee was good on the positive, kids had toast and a kids breakfast, I went with an acai bowl (def needs work). It took a good 15 mins for our drinks to arrive and at least 25 mins for food. I was offered a complimentary coffee since it took so long....when it arrived it tasted like warm milk. Dogs are welcome. Overall they certainly need to make some improvements.

We enjoyed our relaxed casual breakfast Sunday morning. Unfortunately they had run out of corn fritters, which I was so keen to try. The young male owner served me with a lovely chat and smile. You know, that makes all the difference in whether I will return or not. I will return.
