"friend of Bogota took me for lunch and the cook was informed about my vegetarian option. It was one of the best Teppanyaki preparation I had seen. The cook made the food with the highest skill and display. The taste was great. Must visit if you like Japanese food."

I tried Shabu Shabu in another Japanese restaurant in Bogota (in Usaquen) and it was complete ****, so I hoped for this place for the best and ready for the worst. It was really nice. Great friendly staff. I'm used to the waitress that you started on the Shabu Shabu and then let yourself be careful, but she was with us all the time and we really had nothing to expect. An American might think that the portions are small and I initially thought the same, but here in Colombia people generally eat smaller portions. But I fed quite well. Make sure to ask for the rice because they don't give you, unless you ask. I have seen the prices for Japanese rice in the supermarkets, so I know why it is not...

Hatsuhana was the first Japanese restaurant in Colombia, still one of the best places to enjoy Japanese food. Teppanyaki tables are really fun, chefs will make very good food but also will make a good show while cooking. On the other hand, gardens and other areas of the restaurant will make you feel relaxed and really comfortable. Excellent service and great food. Absolutely recommended.

Amazing restaurant, delicious food, entertainment was great and the cook was fun and friendly. I went with my family for my dad’s b-day and we enjoyed a lot, specially my dad. They sound the gong as you enter and when you are leaving. The decor is just so nice and the show is entertaining all the time. I recommend the fried ice cream for dessert, is sooooo yummy!!!

The ambience is still the same as 20 years ago when the owner (RIP) was receiving every single client. The personnel Is friendly and very attentive and the food prepared in front of you with a lot if care. The quality of meals is excellent so....no doubt, this is my Japanese restaurant in Bogotá
