we stayed there on 8 December 2016 with 13 people for our works council Christmas dinner. The greeting was very friendly and the very nice table decoration invited to stay immediately.It was covered for us in a separate room on the first floor.Enning has tasted very good to each of us.I was allowed to enjoy an sour roast from wild boar (very delicate, on the tonnge pulp!) with an excellently tuned sauce and tasty knödeln and also delicious! this court was offered outside the card.The prices were pleasant for the pre-Christmas period, the service very friendly and attentive!We were there for the first time and will definitely come back.
suitable as a box stop on a bike tour. beautiful beer garden with old trees and diverse menu. preparation as with nuts. hausmannskost and ground. the supplementalates have noticed positiw: good mix, even with radicchio and a bit rucola. very good rumpsteak, good chicken with crust. However, the homemade ravioli with salmon are not prepared in a light white wine sauce, but drowned in any solitary sea. tastefully they were okay, but I wouldn't recommend it anyway.
we have arrived today after a nice walk at the ruhr here to eat and have followed the recommendation of our friends: Schnitzel!We had 3 different carvings and all were superlecker. the portion had been served abundantly, not constricted on a dish, but finely separated from each other. the prices fit and the service was easy friendly.After the next walk we will surely come back and also test the beer garden.
I really don't know how to judge this restaurant. once it's great, sometimes grottenmies. I think here work various chefs very different (canoes)In summer great location among old trees, directly on the ruhr, many rugged, pleasantly quiet and romantic in the beer garden. inside the restaurant is very dark, but not necessarily uncomfortable.

we have already had 2 celebrations and we and our guests were always very satisfied. the buffet with decoration was really great. for the price, we would have gotten such a buffet nowhere else. it was individually discussed our desires and above all the casual, friendly atmosphere spoke to us very much.

in this great etablissement you are so kind to cancel a reservation for the Sunday Mother's Day on Saturday afternoon, as you wanted to bring a "biger society". really great, so the guest with the confirmed reservation has no chance to get an alternative yet. never again!
Haus Großjung is a restaurant right on the Ruhr, in the beautiful Steele Horst. The beer garden invites you to stay. The kitchen has thrilled me. We also offered fresh seedlings that were not on the map. The hygiene rules are complied with without snap.
