I'm giving 4 Star because the view of St. Peter's Cathedral was amazing. We had just finished taking the little city bus tram tour and the ticket included a free coffee at Haus Heuport. So perfect since it was right across the street. All we had was the Apple Strudel, I love how light and not so sweet the pastry was. You really fast the apple and it's not covered by the sweetness of the sugar that's added. The fresh whipped cream with a side of vanilla ice cream was so good. It was a nice way to chill after seeing the sites. Also a great place to people watch.
We stopped in here after seeing that the line at the old Historic Sausage Kitchen was way too long. We just wanted a light lunch so we ordered soups. I had beet soup, and my husband potato soup (picture). We also had a beer...and a coke. The price was pretty high, about for small soup portions and drinks. That said, the food was very good, though it took a long time to get it. We sat downstairs, in an open area. The main restaurant was upstairs as were the restrooms. The main restaurant was gorgeous, and the people eating there were a bit dressed up.
To be honest I can't give a proper review on the food. My husband and I just stopped for a drink. However, the view was TO DIE FOR! sitting outside on a bright sunny day just staring at St. Peter's Cathedral and examining every architectural part of it!
heuport is located right next to the cathedrale (and with view on). the hotel is located in a historic building, service and menu are uplifted as the prices. recommended for the local tariff in a raised environment.

Service very fast and accommodating. High quality food and drinks. No one needs to complain about the higher prices than elsewhere, because one sits right in front of the cathedral
