Haus Schauff - Reservar una mesa

The house is located in the Stommeln district of Pulheim directly on the main road and has opened as one of the few locals on Monday. The interior is cozy and the service is very friendly and fleeting. Mondays is schnitzeltag and Thursdays there are rub cakes after the map. Otherwise, the card has a German kitchen with sufficient selection for each taste. The sections are relatively large and cost-effective. However, smaller proportions can be obtained on request. At our meeting we wanted to sit outside. The restaurant has a beer garden back, but it was closed. The Haus Schauff in the Stommelner Zentrum offers good bourgeois food at fair prices. Chef Tiffy has a small but fine menu where every taste is found. I find it particularly great that seasonal daily meals are offered at Haus Schauff and that the chef is constantly meeting new challenges with success. So I was allowed to enjoy a XXL Burger, who deserves his name more than that, from Kobe Rind and that for a really very fair price. If you want to go to Stommeln for a good price/performance ratio solid food, you should definitely find the way to the Schauff!

Last seen an evening installation / birthday party. In this closed society, ice-cold Gaffel-Kölsch and all other drinks were served very friendly both in the Terassen area and in the Schankraum of this beautifully designed village gastronomy. The cold/hot buffet presented was also excellent (the high rib on the bone was a dream/smooth Bresaula with fresh peach salad above). I can absolutely recommend this type of gastronomy in Stommeln.

Random findings and we were very satisfied: it reminded me of my childhood / youth in Bavarian inns and it was also Bavarian weeks. Both the calves and the pork carvings were excellent, fresh, well-seasoned and with delicious fries. My red wine was first-class. The housekeeper friendly, funny and attentive. We felt comfortable eating everything until the last piece, although we were tired. Thank you.

The food was good. The service could be a bit more attentive, but you don't have to thrive. It's not easy with these mini glasses...
