Havana 1957 Pembroke Pines

I requested an outdoor table but was seated inside instead despite tables empty outside. The servers all had masks but were wearing them improperly (noses uncovered) or not wearing them at all. I counted only two staff wearing their masks properly. As far as the food, my chicken and moros were bland and the chicken was tough, moros were cool. The best parts of the meal were the plantains and dessert. This restaurant is fine for drinks and appetizers but the food needs improvement! Also during a sharp increase in Covid Omicron cases, staff needs to be wearing masks appropriately to not contaminate the food, surfaces and the air around guests.

Our server Claudia was great. She had a great disposition and frequently came to our table to see if we needed anything. She was very nice, professional and hardworking.

Restaurant was accomodating for our big office Christmas group; we got a little section toward front; felt semi-private; attentive staff; great time; thank you.

Lots of Birthdays, so it was a bit noisy, bt they moved us to a quietier table. So very accommidating. Server was very pleasant. We enjoyed it thoroughly.

Happy hour had half price apps and drinks. Delicious fried yucca. Enjoyed the roast pork with moros and the Havana chicken special. Good service.
