My husband and I whent to try it out Friday after a long day of work. The food was fantastic. I had Mofongo with carne de vaca and my husband ordered paella. The paella took a long time to cook but it was defenetly worth the wait and the price. The food defenetly reminded me of home and the Islands. I only had two disappointments. One was that our waitress did not know Spanish. The menu in partly in Spanish and I kept having to point to it. I just think that if the menu is half in Spanish the waitresses should at least know that much. We have been going here for well over 6 years. We enjoyed the food quality, taste, portions a 4 star all around.It is now a real disappointment. My husband went yesterday, no bread, no requested soup, small portions, etc. A/C was obviously not on at a comfortable temperature.Then they started to have a 3% surcharge if you paid with credit card, calling the cash price, a discount.Very disappointed since this was a nice break for me from cooking, yet were we could have comparable food.Will not be going again.
During my time working in the area, I found myself craving a plate of breaded steak with arroz congri. This restaurant truly exceeded my expectations and was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was enhanced by the music and the friendly staff, especially Katherine (Katy). The hospitality really made me feel as if I were on a tropical island or having lunch at my grandmother's house. Additionally, the authentic café Cubano provided the perfect boost. I'm so glad I discovered this gem!
This is hands down the best soup I’ve ever tasted! I also really liked the Cuban sandwich. I stopped by on a whim without knowing anything about the place, and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the food was excellent, and the restaurant was spotless. It’s not upscale, but I would absolutely return! I noticed other diners with bigger meals looked very happy, and their food seemed delicious too.

The first time I’ve been here and it was great!!! There was this wonderful waitress named Catherine who really explained the menu, I had a Cuban sandwich at her suggestion. She wasn’t wrong, it was really good.Someone like Catherine is what makes a good restaurant great. She was knowledgeable, attentive and funny….that’s why I asked her name because when I go back I’m going to ask for her.
We always have a wonderful experience enjoying amazing Cuban cuisine at this restaurant. The chef is exceptional, and we truly value the warm service from the waitress as well! Food: 5/5
Traditional Cuban restaurant. Excellent food, on Friday they have live music as well. Located in Mount Dora is worth our 45 minutes travel from Winter Garden. Affordable prices.
Cute restaurant with a good variety on the menu. We had beef empanadas, steak currasco and shrimp muffungo. Reasonable prices and great service. We will be back!

Amazing Cuban authentic food! Highly recommend the food and the Cuban Sandwich are amazing most definitely the Media Noche Sandwich!
