Great ambient. The food is delicious. Proper Italian food. Customer service is also great. I go there at least once a week since I discovered this gem. I've had their bruscettas, pizza, salads, and their lasagna. All delicious! They serve draft beer and wines. Happy hour is from 3 to 6. I usually visit during happy hour and it's not so busy. It gets a little more crowded in the evenings though. Parking is easy enough. There's a lot right next to the place. But it might be harder on the weekends. Anyways. The food is delicious. Give it a try. Edit: They've removed their 10 inch pies and replaced them with a 12 inch option. And upped the price significantly. Thus I can no longer dine here casually. It's a shame.
Adams Ave San Diego has a growing selection of tasty restaurants, and The Haven is a good example. This is a healthy, beautiful, tasteful pizza. Not like the oily, sour pizza in many supposed Italian restaurants. You also have a selection of really nice vegetable salads. A couple can share a large salad and a 16-inch pizza and have plenty of savory leftovers for lunch the next day. They also offer a beautiful selection of vegan dishes. I'm usually on real pizza crust, and The Haven is really good at this department. But her coliflower crust (vegan) is actually delicious. It is a great menu. Absolutely go and try this place!
Great tasting food, me my spouse and my 2 year old tried (shrimp lemon Alfredo, Dave?s meatballs, the Cesar salad, and BBQ chicken pizza) all 4 were good. We also left with pasta and chicken too; great service and polite women only one thing I wished was a little bit different was the timing of the food but the wait ensures quality so that?s why 4/5
This was the last place on my trip to San Diego I visited for dinner. I had the lemon garlic shrimp Alfredo (Thank me later) and the sangrias were strong smooth! Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly and I loved the music. They made me feel at home. When I'm back I'll definitely be eating more of their food.
