Hawaii Grill Sushi

The current special, the Crazy Salmon Roll, is delicious; the salmon is so tender it practically melts in your mouth, and you won’t even need soy sauce for it! The shrimp tempura roll was fresh, but it lacked flavor. Adding a bit of seasoning to the tempura batter could really enhance the taste. The seaweed salad is generally good since it's often purchased in bulk and dressed in-house, though their version was slightly on the sweet side. The food is consistently good, but they are not flexible with simple modifications that wouldn't cost them anything. You have to order the dishes as they are and pay full price, regardless of any requests. For instance, I asked to have the rice on the side for my poke bowl but was told no. They lack a customer-friendly approach and do not accommodate special requests or allergy concerns. I don't think I will return. Food: 5, Service: 1.

The food here is always fresh, consistent, and delicious. The restaurant is well-maintained, and the staff members are incredibly friendly and welcoming. My only complaint is the high extra charge for a small amount of sauce. I also wish they offered a variety sushi platter. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

I wasn't feeling well and was visiting from out of town, so I needed some fresh vegetables. The pickled ginger was amazing, along with everything else I added. It really gave my system the boost I needed and saved the day! I had the white meat chicken bowl with veggies.

Everything was delicious, as always! The sushi is fresh, skillfully prepared, and beautifully presented. They absolutely have the best poke bowls in Orlando, no doubt about it!
