I ordered the Spicy Garlic Shrimp and the BBQ Short Ribs. Service was friendly, there's a large dine in a area. The Short Ribs were beyond delicious, and the shrimp I definitely would go with a large order. The restaurant is clean and very nice inside. The wait time on my order placed at the register was not very long. Good food made reasonably fast. I would go back, almost went back twice in the same day it was just that good. The steamed cabbage was could be a little less steamed, still with some chew. Side orders I would love to see a few healthier options. But doesn't stop me from ordering here again. Merely a suggestion.
Absolutely love this small local authentic business. Hawaiian owned the service is superb. I have been coming here for a few years. I love Boomer the food. There is something for everyone. From garlic shrimp to spicy garlic chicken to short ribs delicious creamy mac salad fresh delicious kimchi....the mahi mahi katsu(lightly breaded fried) is my husband's absolute go to. Mine is the spicy(xtra spicy) garlic shrimp. I highly recommend this place for a lunch or dinner. The spam musubi is always made specials for the weekend are available.
I found this place to meet as half way point. It had been over a year since I had some good Hawaiian food. Prior to that over 20, when I lived there for 3 years! When I walked in I was greeted with the standard Aloha I loved that! We ordered some extra food to take back home and it did NOT disappoint! This food was AMAZING! It looks like it 's not much from the outside but I drove 3 hours and 20 minutes for this and I will drive that far again!! MAHALO to the staff!
Been going here for years, still good as ever. Family owned operated, really nice folks from Hawaii. They were the reason we’ve visited Hawaii 3 times last 5 years. We ordered the crunchy garlic chicken the Hungry Man plate with teriyaki chicken, pulled pork short ribs. We couldn’t finish everything, took home the leftover garlic chicken. I wish they open later so we can stop by after work, but I do understand family priorities.
