Lovely food, great steak, veg done to perfection, delicious cocktails but getting a bit pricey now. Service was great when it was there but vanished for long periods leaving us waiting so long that at one point after waiting 15 minutes I was just about to go looking for someone so we could get our bill when the service finally turned up. My dessert was terrible (shortbread that was dry and dusty and seemed like something my kids would have brought back from cooking at nursery) but they took it straight off the bill, no questions asked so no complaints.
We had a fantastic time at Hawksmoor. The food was delicious, and the express menu offers great value. The service was exceptional, with all the staff going out of their way to help us celebrate our anniversary. The setting is also lovely. Overall, I would highly recommend it, especially for a special occasion.
I arrived late due to issues with availability of taxis and London transport. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our group could still enjoy a wonderful meal and make it in time for their last train home. A huge thank you to the entire team. Thank you...
This restaurant is fantastic. The service and food are top-notch. Just a tip... the appetizers are very large, almost like a meal themselves, so be sure to only order if you have a big appetite as you may not have room to finish your main course.
