Great board game cafe! The space is a bit limited, so it's a good idea to call ahead or check availability. It wasn't particularly busy during COVID. The place is clean and has a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for spending some time just enjoying your own company. Many families stopped by to buy games or participate in their rental program. However, I did notice that the cover charge is supposed to be $5, but we were each charged $10. I don’t remember being informed about any additional fees.
The staff is friendly and always ready to assist. The selection of games and snacks/drinks is impressive. I've invested quite a bit of money here, and it's always worth it. Playing games in person can be a bit more challenging now because of Covid, but they are doing their best to keep it enjoyable. If you're searching for a fantastic spot to purchase games, play them, or simply discuss them, this is the place to go.
Fun place to go with your family or friends to grab some beers and play board/card games. Staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and nice.They also do Magic the Gathering and other hardcore gamer type games, so the customers tend to look like they would cut you in line for hall H at comicon.
The staff is friendly, and the location is very clean. It's a fantastic spot to get trading cards or enjoy games with friends. I prefer shopping here for MTG cards instead of going to Amazon or Target. Reserva una mesa ahora
Unfortunately, Hawkwood has permanently closed its doors. It will surely be missed. I need to add a bit more to meet the character requirement.
I've visited many board game cafes, but this one is my favorite. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful.
