Haystacks offers an extensive breakfast menu that is truly impressive. I've tried various dishes, and they've all been delicious. While the classic combination of eggs, potatoes, and toast is a reliable choice, they also feature specialty pancakes and waffles topped with a variety of sauces and fruits, along with breakfast bowls and omelets, among many other options. My food always arrives quickly, and the prices are very affordable. I usually go right when they open at 7 a.m. or shortly after, and it's never crowded. The hostess is always friendly and cheerful, and the waitstaff has consistently provided great service. This has become my favorite breakfast spot in Wilkes Barre.

I have no clue how this place could average over 4 stars? The coffee, which she made fresh, was not good. The meatloaf tasted funny, not bad exactly but I have a feeling I will be sick from eating it. The service was okay but only okay. She questioned our drink order. She questioned me when I said the same as my hubby for food too. Not questioned in a way that indicated that she cared but was I sure I wanted the same drinks and food. Otherwise, she was okay. For a place that says everything is homemade and fresh... well I question this.
Had the new Tex Mex Wrap with was very good. The chorizo was overly spicy. nice portion. Service was slow. I over heard others complaining about the slowness. As you can see the breakfast menu is enormous. Some items seemed higher priced for breakfast utens but you can make that individual call.
Great breakfast choices. Food was excellent. Portions were perfect. It was fathers day when we visited, very busy and the staff seemed obviously overwhelmed. Service was very slow that day, can't say what a normal day would be like. But the atmosphere was still friendly and courteous.

Everyone had a great time at lunch. I ordered the Harvest Melt, and it was delicious! The staff were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable.
