The Waters Edge turned out to be the Hearth Lounge. We were seated at a table overlooking the stunning Fred Lake, which made for a cozy and welcoming setting. The menu features a wide range of choices, from casual fare to seafood and steaks. Our server, Luis, was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. For our main courses, we ordered the shrimp tacos with rice and the Barramundi served with a medley of baby vegetables. Both dishes were beautifully plated and absolutely delicious. All in all, it was a wonderful evening.
I found my experience a bit disappointing. It seemed that only one male bartender was handling most of the work, while many of the tables in the restaurant were left uncleaned. The manager mentioned they would be busy cleaning, yet there were still no available tables after 45 minutes, and we could see all the messy ones. As for the servers, they seemed to be around but not very visible. The restaurant wasn't even that busy, yet they were constantly coming and going. A special mention to the male bartender, who was doing a great job.
The waiter and bartender were both fantastic. While the food was just average and the wait was longer than expected, the drinks were on the pricey side. I anticipated that the visit would be costly. We got married here last November. A year ago tomorrow! Still a dream! And we have stayed here as guests multiple times prior to our wedding and we love everything about it. The beautiful outdoor space and the food and rooms were all great! And as for our wedding, everyone we worked with made our dream wedding come true!
Luis is absolutely amazing! The drinks, the service, the atmosphere, it's all perfect! And when they close they have the fire pit inside that you can sit at literally all night if you want to finish your conversations. 11/10...I not only would recommend, I have returned numerous times myself.
