Amazing food, huge portions! Prices are moderate but not cheap absolutely worth it once you see the portion sizes. Food is cooked to order and the chef is close he often visists with customers and checks on how the food is received etc. He is very involved, either from behind the window in the kitchen making loud jokes as he puts food up, or out visiting his guests and checking on the food. Kids meal portions are large too, and the kitchen is considerate of getting kids food out as fast as possible. Food was AMAZING. Service was excellent. Very high energy. Positive vibes. They just finished renovating and it really looks AMAZING. not to mention they did all of the art work and signs themselves. Was very impressed. And the amount of food you get!!!! Enough to fill you enough your about to pop and then your take home leftovers is still another whole meal in itself!!! All for a truly AMAZING price... Heavy D... You get Sh@ done!!! Anyone living in the Quesnel Caribou region... This place is a MUST try... Lebanese twist to their food makes this dine in experience one worth boasting about... Keep up the good work you guys.

Driving through on the way to Prince George from California. Parents wanted Dairy Queen but I saw Heavy D's along the way. Glad I chose Heavy D's. Got the spicy pulled pork sandwich with onion rings. It was excellent. Pork was tender and juicy. The huge ciabatta roll held up well sopping up all juices. The onion rings were good, I tried the tzatziki sauce with em, I liked it too. Folks in there were very kind. Great service and great food!

Happened to be in Quesnel on business and had read reviews on this restaurant. Decided to stop in for lunch and it did not disappoint. I ordered the senior sized Pulled Pork (smaller option portion) and it was big and delicious! The buns are homemade and totally amazing. Service was steller and the gal was super nice. Without doubt, I 've had the best ever pulled pork sandwich at Heavy D 's BBQ! Every single 5* comment on TripAdvisor about said sandwich is so well-deserved. It was simply delicious. That 's it! (My partner 's pasta dish was also excellent. Just as we entering the establishment, a chap came out and said to us 'The food in there is amazing! '... Turns out he was 100% correct! Thank you.

Best restaurant of the ones I tried while in Quesnel for work. Had the pulled pork on a bun. Homemade bun was very good. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and didn't fall apart while eating it. Pulled pork was incredible. Not your typical BBQ sauce but the flavours were amazing and so well balanced. Will be back to try the swarma!

We drove down to Quesnel (from Prince Georfe) to go for a ride. We thought we'd grab lunch, so we found Heavy D's. It was fantastic. The food was great, as was the service. I highly recommend you try it!
