Hector's Casa - Reserva de mesa

Sadly I’ve had to come back and edit my previous five star review. To their credit the food was superb until my most recent experience. I picked up my food and the order was incorrect which is forgivable. I returned to the restaurant and they corrected the order but the food I was given was absolutely terrible. My burrito was completely dried out and filled with steak so tough and overcooked I couldn’t chew it. I ended up throwing it out. Churros were equally dry and inedible. I’m extremely disappointed as this used to be one of my favorite restaurants.

The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with a fantastic outdoor seating area. They offer a wide variety of Jarritos flavors to choose from. The burrito was generously sized and filled with fresh ingredients. However, the enchiladas could have been improved as the sauce was bland and the filling was mainly potatoes with small pieces of chicken. The mojito was not very refreshing. On the bright side, the nachos were excellent, with the medium size being enough to serve a group of six.

Juan served me and was awesome! Could tell he was a nice human that really liked his job. I find that usuallys comes from a great workplace atmosphere. I stumbled onto this restaurant killing time before my flight and was totally impressed. They run a lunch special during the day for $15.. was nice not to get hit with High prices as I didn't ask what it'd be before, just came and sat down. Highly recommended.

The best authentic Mexican restaurant in Kelowna. The tacos are fresh as well as the veggies. I think the peas in the rice were frozen, not sure as I didn't eat them. I appreciated how the plates are heated, small detail but something not everyone does. Drinks are on the pricey side. Service is excellent and the back patio reminds me of being in Mexico. First off, I've never had churros that I've enjoyed until I went to Hector's. Second, the food was so GOOD! third the portions were excellent and I was very pleasantly satisfied (fullness wise) by the end. OH AND PRESENTATION?? 5 stars in it's own right! I will be coming back in future! Probably more summer time. Loved that there were dairy and gluten free options for my friend!

What a fun little place! The atmosphere is great. We missed out on sitting in the back patio due to construction, but the indoor seating was fine and there are some tables outside in front as well. Great decor and friendly staff. The food was full of flavor, but the chimichanga was different than what we're used to (tiny! . Great toppings and tasty rice made up for it.

Still sitting here just finished the chips and salsa. You know when you can feel that somethings going to come out to exceed all expectations that’s this place. Can’t wait for burrito and enchiladas. Great local restaurant we will be back!

We really enjoyed dinner here with friends tonight. The food was really good and full of flavour. They had live music starting at 7 pm by Major Mambo. They were awesome! Such a great date night! Reserva una mesa ahora

The Mexican food at this restaurant is delicious and authentic. The service is great too. I will definitely be returning.

My husband and I visited this restaurant for dinner for the first time and we enjoyed the ambiance and the cuisine.
