We visited this place a couple of times last month, and couldn 't fault it. Great atmosphere, good food and excellent service with a smile. However this evening we were served by a waitress with an extreme attitude problem. Open a tab outside? She wasn 't having that! So we moved inside, ordered more beer and some food. All delivered smile free. Crowning moment was when I asked for a receipt, and her lips curled so much I thought I had slapped her ar5e and pi55ed on her chips. Receipt arrived... 35.70, Drinks . Goodness knows how I 'm going to get that through on expenses. This is an Irish bar, you 're going to get English people in it... So sort out your customer service!
This place as all the Irish pub's around the world are well know everywhere you go, however this place has an excellent inside that makes this place really nice. The food is a bit pricy though but beer prices are fair. Even though I like this place as it is, the service is not stunning, maybe because I'm use to a Canadian customer service standard and I was a server my self, that I might find my self hard to please sometimes I travel somewhere, but I have found good customer services in other places in Bremen, so I strongly think that a little bit more charismatic people working at this place, would make it perfect.
We found our way easily to Hegarty's using Google Maps. we were slightly early for dinner, but the staff were happy for us to sit and order drinks ahead of the 6pm deadline. I went for the All Day Breakfast and my wife had the Shepherds Pie. Both meals were very big and very tasty.
