The setting certainly gets you in the mood for a Bavarian feast! This restaurant (translated means Holy Spirit Hospital is one I have passed by as I walked over the bridge but this was the first time I had ventured inside. (The entrance is quite...hard to find. Immediately there is a mood of historic Bavaria, you are greeted by a medieval knight's suit of armour. The lighting is quite low and there was a gentle hubbub which means something is going on but not in a raucous way. The waiters are in traditional Bavarian dress and all were very busy and skilled at manoeuvring around gawping customers as they carried many drinks and plates! this place greeted me and gave me the opportunity to occupy a whole table, although I was alone. the waitress was very helpful and friendly. she helped me understand the menu, even if I don't speak German. the fish I ate was fabulous...prepared the atmosphere of the place is really cool. I recommend this restaurant.
Very nice place and good food. The only criticism is the toilets. The toilets were sadly cold. It is also uncomfortable when sitting on the toilet and seeing the other people through the milky glass partition. The gap between the door is unfortunately also so large that you can observe the people behind it.
Very highly recommended, an inconspicuous entrance to this restaurant with fantastically beautiful courtyard. We ate Schäuferle with homemade Spätzle and were very enthusiastic. The ambience is a dream! We're coming back, thanks for the super nice service.
