Classic Deliciousness. Thankfully, there are still genuine bakeries like Herman's. Their donuts are consistently soft and fresh, and their pastries are out of this world. I remember loving their black cupcakes as a child, and they are likely the best I've ever tasted. There’s nothing particularly flashy about Herman’s; all their baked goods are reliably satisfying. They have the best strawberry shortcakes around, even if you’re not typically a fan of strawberry shortcake. If you find yourself in the area and have a craving for something sweet, definitely stop by Herman's and treat yourself to something delightful!

Herman's Bakery has become a cherished tradition for my family and me. Twice a year, we take a thirty-minute trip to let my children pick out their birthday cakes. Each time we visit, we are greeted with outstanding customer service and a wide range of options. We have never been disappointed. I’ve never picked up a cake that wasn’t perfectly prepared, nor have I ever left without being impressed by the flavor. I highly recommend Herman's Bakery to anyone in the Baltimore area, even if you have to drive thirty minutes like we do.

I filled with nothing but gratitude with Herman?s bakery. This is por first time and I am extremely pleased. We had another bakery for our daughters sweet 15 and they canceled our order two days before the event. After googling around we found Herman?s bakery and they were extremely accommodating and empathetic they young lady who took our order was extremely sweet profesional and walked us through it all. This cake truly exceeded our expectations and more and the flavor

I am very disapointed with the birthday cake that I ordered from Herman's Bakery on 6/1/21 and picked up on 6/4/21, we took cake with us to Ocean City. The cake was to celebrate my granddaughter's birthday. My daughter and granddaughter live out of state and were here for two weeks. The cake cost $36.99. The problem was no one liked the cake, stating it tasted dry and did not like icing. I had to agree it did not taste good. I was embarrassed, wanted it to be a special Reserva una mesa ahora

I am originally from NJ and now live in MD. I came here today after passing by this bakery many times on my way to work. The outside decor is fairly outdated and when I went indoors the inside of the bakery was equally as outdated. It also had a weird musky smell when I first entered. I ordered a key lime pie cupcake and a strawberry shortcake cupcake. Both cupcakes were really good. I think if this location updated it's decor it was be on point. I would come back

You have to check out Herman's; I've always heard great things about it! So, we finally made a visit after passing by so many times over the years. Now that we live in the area, we decided it was time to see what all the fuss was about! Interestingly enough, it also happens to be my mom's favorite place, and she hadn't been there in many years either, so she was very excited. She's been talking about wanting to visit Herman's bakery for a while now!

This is my childhood favorite place to go so I had to visit today during my trip from Florida. I was so happy to see so many people showing this historic establishment. I highly recommend anyone and everyone to visit to support the wonderful deserts. You will not be let down! There is plenty of parking, a very friendly and helpful staff, specials on desserts, balloons, custom make cakes and so much more.

I was introduced to this bakery by a coworker, and every time I'm in Maryland, I have to stop by for a slice or a whole strawberry shortcake. Although it has a bit more icing than I prefer, the cake itself is moist and not overly sweet. They offer a wide variety of pastries, but I mainly go for the strawberry shortcake. The restaurant offers a variety of treats, but the atmosphere felt quite unwelcoming. I'm not sure if my appearance was a factor in this experience. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back, as the flavors of the treats didn't justify the visit.
