Herons - Reserva de mesa

We had a nice dinner at Heron's overall. My main observation is that they seemed to be understaffed, which affected the speed of taking orders and the level of attention we received. The Margherita I ordered wasn't very good, and it was quite clear that the prawn cocktail was made with frozen prawns. It's a casual spot for a meal, but it's not fine dining.

I was attending a private party which took most of the restaurant on a Sunday. The food was really good,presented well and hot. The kitchen did very well in keeping up to the food orders. I had the Mushroom risotto, and it was a huge bowl full and tasted amazing. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. The staff is attentive and friendly, which enhances the overall experience. I particularly enjoyed the calamari and the espresso martini; both were spot on. For dinner, the cost per person is around £40 to £50.

Love eating at Heron's when going out for dinner locally. The food there is always excellent with a good selection of wines. Highly recommend. Service: Dine in
