Herraduras Mexican Fire Grill

I'm not usually a big fan of Mexican cuisine, but I really enjoyed this restaurant. My husband, on the other hand, is a huge fan of Mexican food, and he absolutely loved it. The salsa and chips were delicious and had just the right kick. The service was excellent, and there were plenty of healthy meal options featuring fresh, tasty vegetables. We were all able to take home enough leftovers for another meal. I ordered a veggie and chicken plate served over rice (I can't recall the name), but it was really good and fresh.

I discovered this restaurant on Yelp while on a business trip, as my coworker was looking for a local spot. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The food was fantastic! I ordered the three Dos XX shrimp tacos, and my coworker had the beef tacos, both of which were delicious. There are plenty of salsa options to choose from, which is a great perk. If I’m ever back in town, I’ll definitely eat here again.

Got dinner to go for 3 people. 2 got fajitas and they were both pleased with them. 1 got something that they really didn't care for but not due to the quality of food just taste preferences. Cheese dip was a little bland. Salsa was ok. Chips were crispy and fresh! Did have to wait at the front area for several minutes before anyone came to the front to help the small line that was there. They were not busy. Overall ok, would visit again...

The food was excellent once it arrived. We visited on a Friday afternoon and had to wait 15 minutes to be seated, despite several open tables. After that, it took another 15 minutes for us to get chips and salsa. The waitress was friendly but appeared to be overwhelmed. Fortunately, when our meals finally came, they were quite delicious. My family had a fantastic experience at Herraduras. We visited on a Monday, and we were impressed by the delicious salsa flavors and the affordable prices, which were significantly lower than other restaurants. The large Peach Margarita special for just $5 was a highlight. Overall, the flavors were delightful. I would highly recommend this place. Food rating: 5/5.

The person who sent us to a table didn't ask if we wanted a booth or table. He threw the utensils and menus on the table and left. We had to ask if we could get a booth. Our waitress was nice but we had to wait awhile to order. I had to ask for refills. And we never got our check so we just went to the front to pay.Food: 3/5

After 1 of 3 greasy tacos that I ate, I had heartburn. Refried beans had what tasted like liquid smoke in them, terrible! Shrimp enchiladas with Blanco queso were tasteless. Hot sauce had the flavor of wolf brand chili, yuch. Will not be back. MARIACHI'S was MUCH BETTER, BUT CLOSED ON A FRIDAY NIGHT???Food: 1/5

In my opinion, the food is consistently outstanding. The service was excellent as well. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is that we had to relocate our table of eight because it was quite warm where we were sitting. I will definitely return! Reserva una mesa ahora

Had lunch with friends. All in all, it's a good place. Great price and great portions. Service is about on par with the rest of kid's working now days or what they think work is. But other than that it is worth eating at.Food: 4/5

Absolutely the best food! This is our favorite spot in Lufkin. The service can be a tad slow at times, but the friendly staff and the incredible food make it all worthwhile. Plus, the salsa is spot on! Food: 5/5
