We popped into Werner-Welser at the end of our heuriger crawl through Nussdorf. I don't know if this was typical for weeknights but they had a noticeably more fun and laid back vibe then the other places in town. They had better live music and people were definitely cutting loose. The wine was great and the food was solid. The building and tavern itself was not as picturesque as Schubel Auer, but the staff and other customers made this our favorite place we stopped in Nussdorf.
in the afternoon, as live symphony music was announced. we tried a bit of wee in the very nice gastronomic garden. wein was average. the service is very "rustic and resolute". Then asked if there is also live music later, as advertised. was answered to us so that the service does not know. Overall, it may also be a bit grumpy and rustic at the typical butcher. was therefore a typical "wienerischer afternoon", where not everything was perfect, but we still felt comfortable.
My wife and I visited on a beautiful July evening and loved this place. Very friendly service (English-friendly too,) delicious food, very pleasant garden setting, not too crowded but many people enjoying a nice evening. I highly recommend visiting a Vienna Heuriger to travelers from the U.S to get a feel for Austrian/Viennese culture. Reserva una mesa ahora
this cheerful has unfortunately remained in the development 30 years ago. the offer of food is diverse but unfortunately only of average quality (but very expensive for this) one cannot claim from the weeping, because they are unfortunately very weak and only sprayed drinkable.
