Hickory Pit -b-que

We had a late dinner here Sat. night. My wife and I had the pulled pork, which had a very good bbq sauce with a slightly strong favor at first but not overpowering. Baked beans were good, nice flavor. Pototo salad good but not great. My son had the pork ribs and shared some, they were excellent. Not fatty and wonderful flavor. Waiter and waitress were attentive in down home and comfortable way. Chef<br/ (owner? stopped by to make sure everything was good. Will definitely stop by next time in area.

Had the lunch combo #1 (large BBQ sandwich, small fries, soft drink). Food was good, service was good, staff was friendly. I chose the beef sandwich. Only small complaint is the meat was saucier than I prefer, but that's a personal preference only. The sauce is added as the sandwich is made, so on the side is an option.<br/ <br/ The portions are large even the small fry. I'd definitely recommend, and would suggest trying the Dynobites appetizer. Prices were very reasonable.

Eddie K.. Their Hamburger is the best in Chattanoogs....I ate the CJ Burger. Grilled Black Angus Beef. .....cooked to order...and priced right......The owner, Mike is a Vet Vietnam. A great chef and his restairant is squeaky clran......

Easily the best BBQ in Chattanooga. The pulled pork is never dry and their BBQ sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy (nice and thick, too! . Potato salad and coleslaw are the great, simple and nostalgic. Can't wait to return.

We will give this restaurant an average rating because we got take out. As far as the food it will satisfied your bbq pulled pork cravings. But it wasn't the best I had tried.
