Hifalutin Rapid Western Grill

Hifalutin is one of my favorite restaurants. They have a nice selection of food on the menu and whatever you order is delicious. We had a great server and the noise level was nice and quiet. The only bad mark is with Open Table itself. They make a point to ask if the reservation is for a special occasion but fail to send that information to the restaurant. This has happened to me on several occasions. Don't bother telling Open Table of your occasion... just tell the restaurant staff yourself.

First timers to this interesting restaurant. We found our food to be excellent and service was good on a very busy night right before Mother's Day. With that said the only negatives were waiting to be seated as no one was there for a few minutes and waitress forgetting the coke that was ordered when she took drink orders and not refilling it. Otherwise the prime rib, steak, and tacos that our table ordered were all excellent. We will definitely be back on a less busy night hopefully.

Food was delicious. Service could have been better. We didn't know there were specials until we heard another server telling the next table over about them. We had already ordered by then but it would have been nice to hear the specials. Server didn't come back to check on our meal (it was fine but it would have been nice for him to check). Our biggest complaint was how loud it was. The restaurant was full but the acoustics were terrible. Couldn't hear each other talking.

Our meal and service was great. We were seated next to a large party so it was difficult to have a conversation and for the waitress to hear our orders but other than that everything else was fine. Our waitress was extremely nice and checked on us often. Highly recommend Hifalutin.

Hifalutin has become one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson. I have been there many times (it is close to my home), and I have yet to be disappointed in the food or service. It's always good!
