Ate here tonight with my wife, brother and sister in law, my wife's parent and our infant son. I didn't know what to expect but was pretty pleased with the overall experience. Between us, we ordered three pizzas and around 7-8 other dishes including ribs x 2, squid, salad, pasta, and a bottle of barbera. The dishes were all pretty good - the ribs were a bit fatty for my taste, but that's pretty subjective. The soft serve desert is an absolute winner - i won't go into details, try for yourself.Minor downside - no highchair available for our little guy. Understandable though - the place is pretty busy, and i imagine could get pretty rowdy and boozy, so having highchairs sitting around wouldn't...
Went to Ace for the first time for a mid week catch up with a friend and was surprised by the trendy pizzeria. The service was fast and friendly and although the place was empty when we arrived, it took no time at all to fill up and become quite a bustling hub with a great atmosphere. We ordered 2 pizzas and a salad which were delicious. The pizzas range in price from $18-$26 dollars. I was surprised that they did not have any regular soft drinks (fanta, coke, lemon squash) and as the night progressed, I did find the music a little too loud for conversation and the lights a little too dim. Overall though, it was a great night out.
Been today for my tea. The prices I thought were a little expensive on my arrival. I decided to have the chicken kebab with salad for £4.90 and I wasn't disappointed. It was amazing freshly cooked chicken on a skewer that was seasoned perfectly with two wraps & salad in a large take away box with a choice of sauce.The chicken portion was very very generous.I found the menu very exciting as it offers a wide range of meals. I will be returning 100% & can honestly say it's the nicest kebab I have ever eaten in Leigh. 10/10 for my first meal... & I have already decided what I want to try next.
On a very short trip to Perth our group felt like Pizza but not you standard take away. After checking out the web, we decided to give Ace a try.Very cool location and vibe, staff were friendly and helpful and the pizza was outstanding. Very close to the true Naples Italy version. The only thing that detracted slightly from our night was that the music was a little loud, made it difficult to hear the waitress at times and limited out dinner conversation. Comfortable seats at the high tables and not stools, interesting food to share such as lamb ribs - delicious - and very tasty pizzas made for an enjoyable dining out experience. Unfortunately the music was cranked up so high that it was painful. Perhaps they wanted the tables turned over quickly. They certainly succeeded with our group of 4 as we left as soon as we could.
Went to Ace Pizza last night and the venue is not bad but I really wasn't impressed with the food. If you're going I recommend the squid and the gnocchi. Wine selection is fairly good but given the menu is done better else where I would definitely look at other options before returning.
