I started ordering for delivery pretty regularly for the past 2 months. One time, early on, they messed up my order and delivered a calzone when I ordered a pizza, but since then, it's been fine. The delivery guys are always nice, arrives when promised. When I call, they have my address on file (I guess they can tell by the tel#? so that's always convenient. The pizza is good, I get plain. I think it's reasonably priced and even better when you have a coupon. It still tastes good the next day too. (I would give the pizza a 4 . We used to order from Highland Pizza and we stopped for many years. A few weeks ago we started ordering pizza here again. Recently, we were reminded of the reason why we stopped eating here in the first place. How is is possible to mess up pizza? Our recent pie was putrid. It looked liked they already had a pie made and simply tossed on some more cheese, stuck it in theoven and served it. And it sure tasted and smelled like it too! The sausage and pepperoni were both rancid. The vegetabletoppings were all diced up as if they were meant to be on a salad rather than a pizza. We tried one slice and put the rest ofthe pie in the garbage for fear of food poisoning. No one wants hit or miss food....
We just ordered from here for the first time. Our order: the three cheeseburger sliders and a cheese steak. We live about 25 mins away and we were testing out this place for an upcoming party we are having in the area to see if they would be good to order our party food from. Well the answer is no. The sliders were decent but the meat was a bit overcooked, dry and tasteless. The curly fries were good but a bit old tasting. If they were fresh they would have been awesome. my parents love this place and order there all the time. unfortunately that means i 'm forced to eat it when I go to visit. the chicken tenders are overdone and dry. the salad dressings are awful (specifically the honey mustard that looks like slime). the tuna panini was DRY. the chopped cobb salad was not chopped at all. I asked to sub cheddar instead of blue cheese. they send cheddar sauce. actual liquid cheese. for a salad. their fries are okay which is why they got two stars instead of one. I have never had anything decent from this place, including the pizza. theres far better pizza and such in the area, save your money and go elsewhere.
Horrible food. Delivery driver was nasty and acted like an animal to me. Second time ordering from them. All their food whether a sandwich or salad has an odd funny taste where I had to throw everything out because i was afraid of getting food poisoning.Place would not honor any type of refund for the expensive delivery. im now dealing with third-party Party companies to get mymoney back and put complaints in .. Pizza and management is abominable. Never order from them..I used to run a pizza group, so Iknow good and bad food. The worst pizzeria ever dealt with..feel like calling health dept. too.
I just ordered delivery. Amazing service, quick spend, and great food! I used to not prefer them about 2 years ago but for the past 3 months they are better than anyone in Edison/highland/New Brunswick. You order a cheese steak and it comes in 2 separate boxes huge! It looks like you get 2 for the price of one! I will not order from any other spot around here for now on. Good job highland pizza! You have a regular customer now
Highland Pizza has great slices. Their Garlic Knots are awesome. I had a housemate from Milan, Italy, and she loved this place. You can't get a better endorsement than that. The Grandma slices are awesome. Sometimes I get a cheesesteak or cold sub. Chico makes the best! I have been a customer here for 27 years now, and these guys stayed open long hours right through the pandemic. Five Stars any day.

As a first-time customer, I had a great experience! The service was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. The pizza was decent and offered a great variety of slices. The restaurant has a small, old-school vibe with two large TVs for watching the game. I would definitely return to try more items from their menu!
This was my first and last time ordering from Highland Park Pizza. The meat tasted stale and the green peppers and onions were brown as if they came from a can. I took a chance to give them a call to complain and they were rude and discredited mycomplaints.
